Option One: There is a Hyatt Regency is in downtown SF near the Ferry Building and the Embarcadero. LINK. There are transit lines directly to the Evans Ave. location from there. There is a tramline that stops right by the Community Center. If you prefer a car, it’s 10 - 12 min’s from the Hyatt.

Option Two: Referring back to the map, you will see there are neighborhoods adjoining the Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood:

Bernal Heights and Potrero Hill.

These are hilly and picturesque, with many cafes and restaurants. These neighborhoods have AirBnB accommodations: LINK.
